Learn more about Passive House Building on Thursday with Madison Rotary | Madison Eagle News

MADISON- Members of the public are invited to join Madison Rotary at 7:45 a.m. on Thursday, January 20 for a virtual program on building passive houses.

Mike Bianchi will review the key technologies – and challenges – involved in creating a home that has a true “net zero” energy footprint. Bianchi and his wife are long-time conservationists and recently completed construction of a “passive house” that fully qualifies as a zero-energy residence. In the process, Bianchi became an expert in the various technologies needed to create a true zero-energy home.
