Construction of £12.6million care home kicks off in Telford

What Randlay’s new retirement home in Telford will look like

Main contractor Sandycroft Construction has started work on the Randlay site on behalf of Birmingham-based developer Urban Village Healthcare, part of Urban Village Group.

The development of a 70-bed care home, with 12 specialist care apartments, has been approved by Telford & Wrekin Council and is due for completion in January 2023.

Urban Village Healthcare said it was focused on improving care home supply to meet the growing demand for purpose-built care beds across the UK. It aims to develop and operate many aged care programs in response to the growing demand requirements of the healthcare sector, he added.
