Bolt + Tie Apartment and Business Complex Opens in Clarksville | Community

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – A brand new apartment complex and innovative retail space is now open in South Clarksville.

City and project officials cut the ribbon on Thursday at Bolt + Tie, a mixed-use space on Main Street in Water Tower Square. The four-storey building includes apartments, offices and “micro retail studios”. It also has space for a restaurant, including outdoor seating, on the first floor.

Project officials say Bolt + Tie is intended to encourage people to visit the city center and support local businesses. They also say that the Elevate office at the complex is already home to nearly 30 small businesses and entrepreneurs. The Elevate Office, which occupies the entire first floor, has 12 retail micro-studios that include storefront entrances. Several spaces have already been leased to local small businesses, officials said in a statement.

The building’s coworking space is open to the community for free use Monday through Friday. Conference rooms are also available for community organizations to use free of charge.

“This location is awesome,” said Cory Hoehn, Cornerstone Group co-chair. “You have all the amenities of the area and are connected to both Louisville and all the communities in Southern Indiana … Jeffersonville, Clarksville, New Albany, so we have plenty to do.”

The project has been in development for five years. This is the first part of the South Clarksville redevelopment plan to be completed, officials said in a press release.

Units and offices are now available for rent. Rent is offered on a monthly basis for office and retail space, including high speed internet, utilities, property taxes, use of conference rooms and community spaces. The top three floors of the resort are home to studios, one and two bedroom apartments, complete with stainless steel appliances, open concept floor plans, walk-in closets, built-in washer / dryer and balconies. private. Officials say there is also a clubhouse on the fourth floor with a rooftop terrace. The resort also offers indoor bicycle storage.
